A DECLARATION OF FRUITFULNESS

I am chosen and appointed by God to bear fruit – fruit that will last (John 15:16).

I understand my assignment therefore I will be intentional, purposeful, and focused.

By the power and grace of God, I will engage only in those activities that cause me to be effective and productive in my knowledge of Jesus Christ

(2 Peter 1:5-8).

I am a producer.

I am like a tree planted by streams of water.

I yield my fruit in season and my leaves do not wither -

Whatever I do prospers

(Psalm 1:3).

I understand that there is no fruit without seed, so I will sow seed abundantly even as the Lord leads me.

I will sow spiritual seeds, and I will sow physical seeds (Galatians 6:7-8).

The favor of the Lord my God rests upon me and he will establish the works of my hands (Psalm 90:17).

I declare that my seeds will grow and bear fruit that will last!

By my actions, I cultivate an environment for fruitfulness. (Matthew. 5:13-16)

I put my trust in the Lord and my confidence is in him.

(Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Because of this, I am blessed.

I am like a tree planted by the water.

I do not fear when heat comes – my leaves are always green,

And I never fail to bear fruit.

I am chosen, and I am appointed by God to bear fruit – fruit that will last.

OUR BELIEFS

Refiner's  Foursquare Church is a member of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.

We are an interdenominational fellowship that is fundamental and unapologetic in our presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In a day when diluted messages are producing deluded people, we stress a straightforward proclamation of the Word of God, emphasizing what we consider to be the foundational truths of Jesus Christ for those who believe.

Jesus Christ – the Savior

Jesus Christ – the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ – the Healer

Jesus Christ – the Soon-Coming King

A CONVERSATION OF RACE AND SOCIAL INJUSTICE

The events of the recent past highlighting Black victims of injustice and the escalated responses we’ve seen in a number of U.S. cities and beyond have challenged us as the church to revisit important conversations regarding race, division, violence and injustice. These conversations are not easy or comfortable, but they are necessary.

We have problems assuming responsibility for what has happened, is happening, and bound to continue to happen if we keep ignoring the underlying issues and refuse or choose not to address them. What can we as Christians do to bring the power and grace of God into these situations to affect enduring change, if not transformation?

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

RFC is a multi-cultural church, recently relocated to Washington DC. We are a covenant member of the Foursquare Church denomination headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. As a new church start, we are excited about the assignment the Lord has given to us.

We know that the love of God for all mankind as displayed through his son, Jesus Christ is real, and it is our desire to make this known to everyone. As such everything that we do is grounded in His love
